I did not expect to spend my first Mother’s Day in quarantine. But this is “what is,” and part of yoga practice is accepting “what is.” As I meditate on the divine feminine, I feel the power of unconditional love. I see examples of motherly unconditional love all around me, especially in nature.
I feel the strength and destructive power of the divine feminine in the wind. I see her intelligence in her ability to heal, adapt and change. I smell her sweetness and fertility in the new blossoms and blooms.
All around, I feel the support, love and care of Mahadevi.
This Sunday May 10, Mothers Day, practice with me at 10:30am to give thanks to the Mother.
