Ethan Burns discovered yoga in 2001 when a class he took with his Mom gave him a rude awakening to the limitations and potential of his body.  Slowly growing more interested in yoga over years, Ethan took his biggest step towards becoming a teacher in 2008 with a 9 month journey East, to India, where he spent 3 months practicing intensely with his teacher Bharath Shetty.  Hatha Yoga for Ethan has become not only an incredible exercise of the body, but also an incredible tool for focusing the mind, and ultimately a vehicle for realizing the Universal.  A lifelong outdoorsman, artist, athlete, and recently a West Asheville homeowner, Ethan is committed to sharing yoga with his community here in the beautiful Southern Appalachians.  His classes are designed to balance equal parts strength and mobility within a safe and explorative environment for people of very mixed levels and with a dash of lightness and humor.
