Join Dawn for an immersive yin yoga practice designed for an inner and outer experience. Lit by candlelight, this class may be enhanced by aromatherapy, sound healing and/or physical touch. This practice is an invitation to connect with our truest nature for internal reflection while targeting our deeper connective tissues and fascia for our physical experience.
Yin yoga is a practice of surrender. In this approach to yoga, individuals rest in postures for 3-5 minutes as they allow the muscles to completely release and let go under the weight of gravity. By releasing their engagement we target the deeper tissues of the body where chronic stress and tension tend to be held. This is a practice that invites both the mind and body to settle as the nervous system finds balance, thus allowing one’s entire being to soften into a more fully embodied experience of the moment. Individuals walk away feeling lighter, more open, and more connected to their truest nature.
