Hi friends, I’m so glad you are here. I am a yoga teacher born and raised in Ohio, now based in Asheville after some time in Florida.
Since discovering yoga, I have encompassed a journey of curiosity, self-acceptance, and surrender. I share the depths of yoga from my heart. I reach practitioners with a warm, nurturing, and compassionate personality and devotion to connect in community. My purpose for sharing yoga is to support the navigation of finding rhythm through discomfort and chaos.
I am a 300-hour certified yoga teacher with interests in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative yoga styles. I have a degree in psychology and am certified in mindful meditation and Reiki. I recently studied in Bali, Indonesia, where I explored the origins of yoga, the trajectory of the practice, refined my teaching skills, and expanded my knowledge of ‘what yoga is’.
I have a deep love for the natural world. When I am not on my yoga mat, I find nourishment by wandering barefoot in the forests, swimming in bodies of water, embracing the elements of nature, howling at the moon, and sitting in sacred circles with my given and chosen family.
I also work in the corporate world, where I manage and facilitate international community education programs for those living with and impacted by Parkinson’s disease. My programs reach communities around the world, offering space to explore the benefits of yoga and mindful meditation and how it supports the journey living with Parkinson’s and beyond.
