Ayelet's up-coming classes
Ayelet Even-Nur has been a dedicated practitioner of yoga since 2004. Through yoga, Ayelet has experienced the body-mind’s incredible capacity to transform. It is this potential for transformation that inspired her to teach. She has taught Vinyasa yoga in Chicago, New York City, and Berkeley, inside and outside of studios, teaching practitioners in alternative-to-incarceration centers and leading workshops around the country. Ayelet has assisted John Campbell, Richard Freeman and Mary Taylor and was the director and teacher of Berkeley Mysore at the Berkeley Yoga Center until the birth of her son in June 2018. An advanced practitioner of Ashtanga Vinyasa, she focuses on alignment fundamentals and breath awareness in her teaching order to make the yoga practice sustainable for all types of practitioners.
Ayelet has nearly completed her PhD from UC Berkeley, and is finishing up her dissertation on Palestinian and Israeli poetry and art. She is a painter, a potter and a lapsed gardener. A new transplant to Asheville, she is excited to participate in the local yoga community.
