Chris's up-coming classes
Chris is a teacher, writer, and professional Senior Caregiver. They first came to yoga through their own trauma recovery; experiencing a profound reconnection with their body after years of avoidance and dissociation. The practice of yoga is essential to every aspect of their life. Working as a full-time caregiver to seniors in their last days, she helps ease their transition with non-attachment and acceptance; as a writer she studies, listens, and experiences life with curiosity seeking to convey what she learns through storytelling and advocacy. As a teacher, she practices and shares trauma-informed Hatha Yoga in an adaptive and inclusive way. She understands that each body, each healing journey is infinitely unique. It is their pleasure to hold space for others as they grow, explore, and get to know themselves more fully through movement and stillness, even as they continue to do so themselves.
