Ruth’s yoga journey began like many do- as a way to feel good physically. After only a year of regular practice she did her first 200hour teacher training at a Sivanada school which emphasized mediation, pranayama and mantra. A year after that she did another 200hour teacher training at Yoga South in Boca Raton Florida which had a heavy ashtanga and iyengar emphasis. Ruth has had experience teaching in many different environments from studios, to corporate offices, health retreats and rehab facilities. Ruth hopes to reach all people with a message that yoga is for everyone and through asana, pranayama and meditation we can become more awake to the present moment.
