Candlelight Yogic Dance begins with a short meditation and pranayama (breath-work). Grounding in the sensations of the body we will connect moments into momentum, and breath into movement while we flow in time to music. This class will offer a chance to meet elements of conditioning, flexibility, rhythm and stillness.
All bodies are welcome and modifications will be given, as we build movements in progressive stages of challenge so that we can all work at and expand our healthy edge of ability. Our bodies will flow through movement into moment-to-moment awareness, allowing us to consciously perceive and influence more aspects of ourselves.
We will build together towards a peak, after which we will descend into a slow spacious wind-down designed to prepare you for a restful evening.
